In this beauty advert, you can clearly see a lot of re touching, making the skin look flawless, mainly because they are advertising foundation for the skin, so they trying to make others believe that this is the outcome of this product and every woman will look like that. They are also using a celebrity to promote this foundation, others including myself always attracted to the products that celebrities advertising because we all believe that, this is what they use to look beautiful. It is very frustrating that they are using a woman who is in her forties but yet has no wrinkles appearing on this advert, it is very unrealistic, no one had such smooth, poreless and wrinkle free skin especially at that age. I believe they need to start making these adverts a lot more realistic not necessarily having celebrity to promote this product but maybe just an average woman, and show others the real result of the product rather than a lot of Photoshop usage. Overall her make up looks amazing, it looks quite natural, her hair is pushed to the back, to bring all the attention to the face, but I think it looks good that way, otherwise its too overwhelming when there is too much make up and hair covering the face.
